AMAMPEMBE CONTINENTAL ROYAL KINGDOM is planning to have an annual Cultural and Honors Celebration Event which will be hosted by the Kingdom on 26-27 April,2024.
Amidst the rolling hills and rich cultural tapestry of Phuthaditjhaba, Free State Province of South Africa, and the Golden Gate National Park, a momentous occasion beckons as the Kingdom of AmaMpembe prepares to mark its 2nd Anniversary Coronation & Honorary Doctorate Celebration of His Majesty King Mayongo Lubelo Mpembe III. This event, slated to be a testament to tradition, resilience, and community development, promises to be an unforgettable affair.
The Kingdom of AmaMpembe stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of unity and heritage preservation. Established to prioritize matters pertaining to Kingships and Chieftaincies, AmaMpembe embodies the collective aspirations of its people and the communities it serves. With a steadfast commitment to partnership with other traditional rulers, AmaMpembe seeks to chart a course towards the holistic development of Pan-African communities.
Honoring Global Social Development Leaders At the heart of the Kingdom's ethos lies a dedication to honoring individuals who champion social development within their communities. Through an annual honorary ceremony in collaboration with various universities and colleges, AmaMpembe recognizes and celebrates the exemplary contributions of these global leaders. This year, the Kingdom welcomes HRH Oheneba Nana Kwame Obeng II, who will share insights on ecotourism, investment opportunities, and the potential for leveraging ecology and history to foster sustainable tourism in Ghana and Africa.
The narrative of the AmaMpembe Nation is one of revival and restoration. Emerging from a period of dormancy, the AmaMpembe Nation embarked on a journey to reclaim its lands, culture, and royal bloodline. United under a common vision in 2015, representatives of the Nala, Nzima, and Thabethe houses resolved to forge a single nation, guided by the principles of recognition and effect. Spearheaded by His Imperial Majesty King Bhungane III of Embo Kingdom, the restoration of the Kingship of AmaMpembe in 2016 marked a pivotal moment in the nation's history.
At the forefront of this resurgence stands His Majesty King Mayongo Lubelo Mpembe III, whose coronation in 2019 solidified his role as the Paramount Chief of the AmaMpembe Nation. With his Great Place in Phuthaditjhaba serving as the epicenter of the nation's rebuilding efforts, King Mayongo Lubelo Mpembe III has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the socioeconomic development of his people. Through the establishment of a nonprofit organization and active networking with other nations, King Mayongo Lubelo Mpembe III exemplifies visionary leadership grounded in the core values of respect, justice, and integrity.
As we gather to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary Coronation & Honorary Doctorate Celebration of King Mayongo Lubelo Mpembe III, let us reaffirm our collective commitment to nation-building and unity. Inspired by the words of His Majesty King Mayongo Lubelo Mpembe III, let us recognize that nation-building is not merely a destination but a journey of identity, destiny, and economic freedom. Together, let us embrace our role as builders, united in our pursuit of a brighter future for all.
